Job Description

  • Manage the export licencing process includingthe review of shipping documentation proir to release of controlled goods,licence applications, licence management, requesting permission to ship (PTS)from HMRC and licence returns.

  • Manage the import licencing process includingidentifying in advance the requirement for proir survaillance licences andmonitoring import quotas.

  • Provide regular trade training includingArconics Global Trade Compliance Standards in meeting customs and othergovernmental regualtions and programs to all relevent functional areas.

  • Manage broker releationships ensuringperformance measures are met.

  • Manage the internal trade ASAT assesments foreach site by conducting the appropriate testing to ensure compliance withexisting processes and to identify any weaknesses or opportunities for improvedcompliance. Develop any required remediation actions in conjuction with theEMEA Trade Compliance Manager.

  • Ensure all preferential origin declarations aremade in line with the approporate regualtions and maintain full  documentry evidence.

  • Manage end user documentation ensuring it meetsthe requirements of the internal end user documentation policy.

  • Conduct internal auditing of import and exporttransactions on a monthly basis ensuring that all documents required areavailable and correct and in line with the internal policies and procedures.

Maintain knowledge of current import and exportregulations and pending legislation.


  • Educated to level 4, or equivalent.
  • Global trade compliance experienceworking for multinational company.
