Essential Knowledge/Skills
  • Carbide die maker with a good understanding of cold heading and cold headers in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
  • Must have experience working with carbide, steel materials and working in close tolerance to meet blueprint requirements and specifications.
  • Machine shop skills are required and must be willing to work in a team environment.
  • Report all incidents including injuries, spills, fires, property damage, and rear misses to their supervisor.
  • Must be able to do own set-ups, adjustments by means of reading and understanding blueprints. 
  • Self-starter with quality and production goals in mind as well as working to ABS and EHS principles.
  • Keeping work area clean and organized using the 5S method. 
  • Basic math skills and understanding of aerospace fasteners.
  • Knowledge of lathes, mills, grinders, comparators, and hand tools.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must have minimum of 5 years experience
  • Must possess a High School Diploma or GED
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
