Job Description

This position is responsible for the mechanical design of molds and dies. The individual may work independently or as part of a design team to satisfy customer requirements. Provides data and documentation necessary for the manufacture of the product internally or by external supplier.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years tooling design and fabrication experience.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution in the following disciplines preferred: Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
  • Fluency with CAD/CAM software
  • Sound understanding of engineering drafting principles
  • 3+ of turbine/airfoil tooling design experience.
  • Capture 3D inspection and analysis experience a plus.
  • Experience in the design of turbine/airfoil mold and dies.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Sound understanding of engineering drafting principles.
  • Knowledge of material properties, as related to die design.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • Ability to effectively work/communicate as part of a project team.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and activities.
