Job Description

Primary purpose of the function:
  • To provide general technical support to new customers during the early stages of their introduction to the Kawneer Dealer Network

Major activities/ key accountabilities

      • On board new dealers and provide them with the relevant information such as product manuals, training material, product literature
      • Completion of the new Dealer pre-qualification documentation
      • To evaluate fabrication capability and determine tooling requirements.
      • Identify and organize relevant product training
      • Provide fabrication support where required.


      Technical skills / Educational background
      • Must have direct fabrication experience in aluminium windows/doors

      • Knowledge of machinery and tooling

      • Extensive aluminium product knowledge.

      • Practical ‘hands on’ experience (e.g. sites, fabrication, dealer visits).

      • General industry & associated product knowledge (e.g. glass, sealants etc.)

      • Excellent communication skills both oral and written with the ability to communicate with people on every level.
      • IT Literate in Microsoft package applications
