Job Description

This position will: 
  • This position is overall responsible for Leading all Technical equipment projects in to Howmet de Mexico by:
  • Full Ownership of Technical projects such CNC, TOYO,X-RAY,WALL GAUGE as example in Howmet de Mexico. 
  • Developing & Leading process layouts & Installation of new machines.
  • Developing & Coordinating timing plans, gantt tracking for all programs & new start up’s.
  • Leading meetings that include all asspects, Manuf. Eng, EHS, Finance, Customers in the technical projects.
  • Supervising the smooth transition in Technical Projects in to Mexico.
  • Striving for Savings in Continuos Improvement projects in the Company.
  • Searching for Business Opportunities within ARCONIC by tranfering Technical projects to Mexico.
  • Ability to communicate effectevily in all Supervisor, Management ,Executive Levels and with Customer also.
  • Providing Technical Training & Development tools for HDM users, among Arconic.
  • Reporting to Plant Manager the status of all Technical equipment Projects.
  • Travel requirements up to 25% to 50% from Del Rio Location.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution.  
  • Minimum 1 year of Managerial experience is required.
  • Due to ITAR restrictions, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the Unites States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S person status. ITAR defines U.S Citizen, U.S Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder) Political Asylee, or Refugee. 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Technical Services projects.
  • Engineer, ISO/AS9100, NADCAP certification beneficial.
  • Strong knowledge on Casting Operations Processes.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond questions from group of managers, clients, customers.
  • Bilingual English-Spanish.
  • Good PC skills, High proficiency in Microsoft package for better work presentations
  • Good written & verbal communications skills
  • Self-starter; ability to work effectively in a team environment. 
  • Demonstrates a good attitude and initiative to develop the position activities.
  • Requires high travel and overtime availability. 
  • US & Mexico Maquila background experience (preferred)
