Arconic Engineered Structures (AES) is seeking a Sales Growth Manager, to drive revenue growth in our Massena, NY location near the beautiful St. Lawrence River and the Adirondack Mountains. Profile: The primary purpose of this position is to develop new customer relationships linking market needs to products and plant capabilities.

Essential Functions: Under the direction of the Plant Manager, this position is accountable for developing revenue growth for the site in the wholesale and manufacturing product lines. This position will collaborate with commercial, production, and product development. This position includes both tactical & strategic initiatives, examples include but are not limited to:
  • Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
  • Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
  • Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
  • Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
  • Assessing the customer needs and pulls together a cross-functional team to build an execution plan, drive discipline and challenge barriers
  • Manages customer and ensures customer deliverables are met
  • Interacting with AES Commercial, Manufacturing and Product – Process Engineering, Metallurgical / Quality systems functions to support delivery and quality requirements of the customer:
  • Leads cross-functional team during recurring program execution meetings to ensure the timely completion of tasks (meetings include functional managers).
  • Ensures clear communication of meeting minutes including notes, assignments and highlights.
  • Communicates to the broader organization the status of each customer.

  • Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • 3 years minimum metals manufacturing, sales, marketing, and/or customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S> person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S> Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in marketing, metallurgical, material science, aero-mechanical or chemical engineering.
