Accountability Objectives
Under the direction of the Corporate Director of Manufacturing Intelligence and Smart Manufacturing (MI / SM), this position is accountable for managing new business application projects as part of the smart manufacturing initiative.
• The primary purpose of this position is to work closely with the technical team, corporate IT team, and business process owners to determine scope, direction, and schedule of each project.
• Communicate with senior leadership on the status of new ideas/solutions for applications, systems, and projects.
• Ensure resource availability and distribution for all projects at multiple locations.
• Manage the relationship between the client and all stakeholders.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Work with each Business Unit IT Compliance Lead to meet current IT ASAT security objectives and requirements.
• Help create MI / SM vision and roadmap including opportunities or areas of improvement.
Job Dimensions:
The primary purpose of this position is to translate the MI / SM vision and strategy into a deployment plan. Work with the IT team to manage projects and the implementation of newly digitized systems that would be deployed to all BUs and all locations:
• Project Management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet objectives and key deadlines
• A deep understanding of IT requirements and business process initiatives focusing on manufacturing.
• A high-level knowledge of web and mobile framework development.
• Help create and design the vision for the smart manufacturing digitization initiative.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A working knowledge of manufacturing processes, process controls, manufacturing KPIs, and smart manufacturing.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s in computer science, IT, engineering, business or math from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of software development and web technologies experience
  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 1 year supervisory experience
  • Manufacturing experience with technology and business background.
  • Experience delivering solutions for ease of use to end-users while being easily maintained. 
  • Technical background with understanding and experience in software development and web technologies
  • Possess good interpersonal skills and be able to effectively interact with business customers and members of Corporate IT.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding and practical application of systems analysis and technical skills.
Possess leadership ability and effective oral and written communication skills; possess organization, attention to detail, multi-tasking, planning and decision-making abilities, good analytical skills, and project management abilities; and be a creative and competent team builder.
