Arconic is looking for a Systems Analyst to join our Arconic Wheel and Transportation Products (AWTP) business unit in Cleveland, OH.

The System Analyst will support the configuration and business process fit of the Oracle Applications and other custom/packaged software that support the Order Management and Shipping functions and EDI processes.
 
Major Activities and Key Challenges Include:
  • Provide systems expertise in the solutions area assigned. This includes providing support to sustaining activities and to project activities for the assigned area.
  • Evaluate business problems and processes, evaluate requirements, scope, functionality, priorities – provide recommended solution alternatives in alignment with business objectives.
  • Development of project requirements, including detailed specs, work estimates, timelines, deliverables and milestones. This includes plan development for small to medium sized projects. Ability to work with other internal workgroups, such as Arconic GID workgroups.
  • Develops an in-depth understanding of the business processes in their area(s) of assignment, and a general understanding of the AWTP business.
  • Pursues continuous learning consistent with changes in technology.
  • Leverage day-to-day interaction and activities to identify process improvement opportunities

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited Institution
  • Minimum of 2 years Information Systems / Information Technology experience.
  • Minimum of 1-year SQL
  • Minimum of 1-year experience working on Order-to-Cash in an ERP applications
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.  ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, from an Accredited Institution
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with Oracle EBS application suite
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office toolset – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • SQL skills.
  • Knowledge of Oracle development toolset
  • Order-to-Cash exposure with a solid understanding of the business functions, controls and execution
  • A working knowledge of EDI
  • Systems analysis and design skills.
  • Experience working with cross functional teams, presenting solutions both verbally and through written communications.
  • Technical understanding of application development life cycle phases.
