Job Description:
The Supply Chain Analyst plays a key role in the Global Supply Chain organization and will work to support business strategy and ensure world class cost management, customer service and efficiency.  Responsibilities of this position will include project work, data analysis, management and reporting of metrics and transacting in Oracle. This individual will need to quickly develop a knowledge of the AWTP manufacturing flow-paths, capacity management, Supply Chain planning processes and tools and have a desire to contribute to the world class planning processes that result in improved service, lower costs and optimized inventory. 
This position will report directly to the N.A. Supply Chain Manager, with whom s/he will establish and be held accountable for various Supply Chain related targets.
The incumbent will interact with the following:
•       Internal casthouse supply contacts (Barberton Casting Center and Arconic Wheel Products Monterrey).
•       3rd party raw material suppliers
•       Demand Planning, Production Planning, Customer Service/Sales and Finance to ensure inventory objectives and plans necessary to execute to them are clear.
•       Forging, Machining and Finishing manufacturing management.
•       Product supply planning (operations) to ensure communication, understanding and attainment of plans. 
•       Logistics for the purpose of coordinating the timely and accurate movement of raw material across the extended manufacturing flow-path.
•       Information Systems for the purpose of the defining, designing, testing and implementing of raw material planning and management tools.
Major Activities and Key Challenges Include:
•       Act as liaison to manufacturing service providers, scrap buyers and tollers, third party warehousemen and transportation companies as well as Arconic corporate resource groups.
•       Maintain reporting devices (as determined by Global Supply Chain management) and act upon associated information to ensure a high level of customer service at all times.
•       Collecting and analyzing supply chain data.
•       Perform special studies critical to ingot, scrap or other Supply Chain support functions and analysis where necessary.
•       Provide support coverage within the planning organization when activity volumes or staff vacation and personal time warrant.
•       Develop and maintain communication methods that drive CVW Cleveland manufacturing centers’ BTS to meet Supply Chain defined expectations.
•       Where appropriate, collaborate with I.S. professionals to implement effective Supply Chain tools.
•       Other responsibilities as assigned by N.A. Supply Chain Manager.


Basic Qualifications:
•       Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
•       Minimum of 2 years’ Supply Chain experience.
•       Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. (IF NEEDED)
•       This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.  ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. (IF NEEDED)
Preferred Qualifications:
•       Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Logistics
•       This position will require the ability to drive and lead implementations, improve processes as well as to drive maximum service while optimizing costs.  Strong candidates will possess the following:
•       Familiarity with supply chain processes (production planning, inventory management, distribution)
•       A strong working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel, relational databases and ERP systems (preferably Oracle).
•       An analytical mindset, problem-solving aptitude and an attention to detail.
•       Excellent communication skills and organizational ability.
