This Storeroom Lead will support the plant by managing the storeroom inventories, order replenishment and assist internal customers and external suppliers. This role performs functions required to maintain the necessary on hand quantities for inventoried parts, supplies and equipment to support plant demands. This role is responsible for managing all Storeroom inventory and management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership Performance:
  • Maintain and control inventoried spare parts, equipment and operating supplies, of the storeroom and to insure an adequate flow of those items through the location’s storeroom system;
  • Manage and oversee the operations of the Oracle instances as it affects and relates to storeroom functions (Stores, EZ Stores, Inventory, eAM, iProcurment, etc.);
  • Maintain cross-references, solve various problems, investigate inventory differences;
  • Develop and lead actions based on gaps identified through strategic planning process;
  • Lead Storeroom, Plant and Procurement Operations initiatives as needed.
Production Systems:
  • Manage and monitor Min-Max levels on critical spares inventory parts using usage and lead time as a guide line;
  • Manage inventory optimization processes; inventory levels, slow moving and obsolete inventory;
  • Manage the process for reviewing, approving and setting up new inventory item request;
  • Monitor cycle counts in the ABCD category format, and assist accounting when discrepancies arise;
  • Monitors Department’s Operating budget to assure compliance with established monthly spending targets;
  • Facilitate vendor managed inventory program and orders.
Risk Management:
  • Implement actions and notify appropriate personnel of irregularities in parts and material received;
  • Actively participate in Human Performance activities to identify High Risk Tasks every shift.


Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution;
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Maintenance or Material Management;
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license;  
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position;
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree from an accredited institution;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Material Management from an accredited institution;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Maintenance or Material Management; particularly with inventory control;
  • Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience.
