The Staff Assistant position will be located in Plant 5 Ti-Cast Operation, in Whitehall, MI. The key responsibilities include:
  • Administration of job routing/entry of rework routers to support engineering
  • Communication Center lead, ensuring communications to employees and the plant are up-to-date
  • Plant training recordkeeping
  • Enter material requisitions, purchase orders, office supply orders, and other similar functions
  • Maintain several databases and systems for daily plant staff use, including archiving data per standards
  • Coordinate meetings, special events, travel and customer visits for the plant
  • Ability to work overtime, including weekends, as required


Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of one-year general office, administrative, or staff assistant experience required.
  • Successfully meet the standardized TABE testing requirements. If applicant possesses a minimum of an associate degree, testing is not required.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting multiple people a plus.
  • Strong computer experience with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Good written/oral communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
