Arconic Engines is looking for a Staff Accountant who will perform activities to support the Finance Department.  This position will be based at the Rancho Cucamonga Facility.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Staff accountant in support of the Controller will deliver on monthly performance targets and successful execution of standard monthly accounting procedures.
• Ensure that all required financial statements and reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner according to corporate policies, generally accepted accounting principles, and applicable regulations and laws.
• Support the monthly general ledger closing and reconciliation process.
• Support development of annual operating plans and forecasts through revenue and receivables analysis
• Complete monthly financial control procedures to ensure the location meets Arconic audit/ASAT/SOX requirements.
• Provide accurate and timely daily revenue recognition for the business.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and development of best practices.
• Provide support on an as needed basis for financial and control audits for both internal and external auditors.
• Support development of tools/reports to facilitate financial, commercial, and operational improvements.
• Lead accounts receivable analysis, guide commercial action, and deliver on forecast targets.
• Support an environment where systems are used to accurately plan, forecast, and deliver according to expectations.


  • Bachelor’s Degree from a credited institution
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to occasionally push, pull or lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Expert at Microsoft Excel, experience with Epicor, Oracle, and Hyperion a plus
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
