Through continued modernization, including a $300 million investment over the past decade alone, Davenport has maintained its position as the world’s premier aerospace supply plant and is today the hub of Arconic’s $3 billion aerospace business.

The Senior Financial Analyst is accountable for the overall integrity of the fabricating value of inventory and integrity of the metal closing processes and results.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Lead, execute, and drive unit cost reduction efforts;
  • Provide an accurate decision support system to facilitate pertinent business decisions;
  • Lead and drive change within the existing financial processes supporting these operations;
  • Maintain the financial records in accordance with GAAP and Arconic accounting policy;
  • Lead the closing process, including, but not limited to liaising with FSS, reviewing and signing off on account reconciliations and Balance-sheet reviews;
  • Lead, supervise, and coach the development and prioritization of activities of direct reports;
  • Evaluate financial implications of long-term commercial contracts and recommend opportunity to improve and/or protect existing profit levels;
  • Ensure that all non-metal entries are prepared in accordance with GAAP and Arconic accounting policy;
  • The standard costing system and decision support tools. The incumbent will be an expert user strategic renewal system, Oracle and Hyperion;
  • Maintain ASAT process on schedule and all proper testing completed;
  • Ensure the proper controls are in place to maintain the integrity of financial data;
  • Lead the Annual Burden budget process and periodic review of burden rates.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution;
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience focusing in Accounting or Finance;
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position;
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution;
  • Possess a CPA and / or CMA;
  • Experience with standard costing systems and budgets;
  • Experience with FP&A and reporting requirements;
  • Experience with Enterprise Business Systems such as Oracle or SAP;
  • Minimum 1-year work experience working in a manufacturing environment;
  • Experience in data base query tools such as Microsoft Access, Oracle Discoverer, Hyperion, Essbase, Smartview and related programs.
