This position is with the AEN-Rings Segment.

The Rings Senior Financial Analyst role is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse and highly skilled team of professionals who are responsible for the financial reporting, compliance and business strategy support to our Group leadership. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with global business units and will act as business partner to the Rings VP of Operations and Rings Controller. Our Segment has a global presence, with 6 facilities in 3 countries (US, Mexico, China).

The position will support key activities of the Rings Finance team and will serve as a business partner to the BU Finance teams, Corporate FP&A, and the COE. This includes providing strategic and tactical financial analysis to key internal customers. This position will also support the Rings weekly/monthly forecasting and annual planning processes and perform financial analysis for the Rings Segment.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Support accurate analysis and publishing of monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports ranging from consolidated financials, flash reports, closing summary, Cash from Operations analysis, Key Performance Indicators, Inventory/Working Capital analysis, and other reports necessary to help drive optimal decision making;
  • Be the Single Point of Accountability (SPA) for the Rings weekly financial projection reporting process, directly coordinating with Business Unit (BU) representatives the alignment and understanding of the financial projections;
  • Consolidate and understand preliminary monthly results to prepare communication and summary reports for Rings and BU leadership and other stakeholders;
  • Work with BUs and Corporate FP&A group in coordinating activities related to preparation of monthly forecast, annual budgets, and quarterly earnings. Verify data and work with teams to rectify errors when needed;
  • Verify and consolidate financial data submitted by locations. Analyze Rings performance drivers to support the Segment, BU, Corporate FP&A team, and other key stakeholders;
  • Work with Rings Controller on GASE analysis and control of the headquarter expenses;
  • Ability to work in a high pressure, multi-tasking work environment;
  • Drive improved linkage and standardization of financial processes globally;
  • Use and improve key financial reporting and analysis systems.
  • Maintains full compliance with Company policies and procedures and conducts all activities in accordance with the Arconic Guide to Business Conduct.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a business analyst, financial reporting / analysis, financial auditing role
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position

  • Bachelor’s degree Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analyst, financial reporting / analysis and /or financial auditing role
  • Advanced user at Microsoft Excel (macros / VBA writing), and / or all Hyperion planning and reporting applications
  • Experience with Oracle/Essbase querying
