This is a critical Industrial Gas Turbine (IGT) Account Manager position that will be responsible for the strategic development, planning and execution of comprehensive customer strategies with Solar Turbine, a key IGT account.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Execute an overall market based customer strategy that adds value to existing customer relationships and leads to profitable growth of existing business and enables related new business development.
  • Understand the customer’s organization, business culture, and market to best position our company to serve their needs.
  • Forge strong, trusting collaborative relationships at all levels with key customer and across the entire business unit.
  • Responsible for successful Long Term Agreement (LTA) life cycle management (pricing and portfolio management) with assigned critical customer
  • Identify and effectively utilize customer satisfaction metrics to improve business performance and our relationship with the customer.
  • Provide effective open items tracking/resolution with plant and field staff and coordinate with internal personnel to satisfy customer requirements and provide effective mediation for customer disputes
  • Support working capital management goals through effective tactics and strategies including accounts receivable, terms and conditions for on-going base business and extraordinary items such as large tooling requirements.
  • Forecast market trends to assigned account; budget and LRP process for assigned account.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • 7 Years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Engineering or Business.
  • High level of competency in Excel, PowerPoint, and related computer skills.
  • Experience within the turbine engine (aerospace or IGT) industry.
