Arconic is currently in search of a Senior Systems Analyst / Project Leader to join our Global Rolled Products (GRP) HQ business unit in Lancaster, PA.
The Senior Systems Analyst / Project Leader will support GRP’s business strategy and the North America locations by providing in-depth business process knowledge using AS/400 (IBM i) and Synon technologies in specific business areas. This is an internal consulting role that works with business process owners to understand and support current business processes while identifying opportunities for improvements that enable added business value in a cost-effective manner. This role also supports critical smart manufacturing initiatives that will drive continuous improvement and business value.
  • Analyze, enhance and supports business processes
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the business processes in their area(s) of assignment, and a general understanding of the GRP business.
  • Take initiative to identify and implement system and/or process improvements to support business objectives.
  • Effectively utilizes project methodology and tools to deliver solutions and communicate status.
  • Lead and coach project team members to achieve successful project delivery
  • Manage project costs to align with allocated budget
  • Operate within and influence IS standards and conventions and promotes adherence within the IS organization
  • Pursue continuous learning consistent with changes in technology and uses this to influence IS direction.


Basic qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with IT applications
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with systems analysis and design
  • Minimum of 1 year of AS/400 (IBM i) experience
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science
  • Advanced Degree
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
