The Senior Manager – Income Tax Accounting will work in the ASC 740 area working closely with the Senior Director – Income Tax Accounting.  The selected candidate will handle the following tasks:
  • Be responsible for the accurate and timely review and analysis of US and non-US income tax accounting and reporting for assigned companies and/or regions outside the US
  • Maintain calculations and tax accounting process in Hyperion Tax Provision
  • Manage and review the tax accounting work assigned to other accountants within the Tax Department
  • Assist local non-US accounting personnel with income tax issues and training
  • Identify issues, risks and opportunities; recommend courses of action to be taken; and take primary responsibility for resolution/completion
  • Work on quarterly review and analysis of the effective tax rate, footnote and other SEC disclosures
  • Act as a vital member of the Income Tax Accounting Team
  • Individual must have the following competencies:

    • Strong data simplification, organization and documentation skills
      • Excellent analytical skills - must be able to analyze, not just compile information
      • Excellent interpersonal skills (written, oral, presentation)
      • Assist local non-US accounting personnel with income tax issues and training


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of corporate income tax (ASC 740) experience with a multi-national business or a Big 4 public accounting firm
  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, business, or mathematics from an accredited institution
 Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA
  • MBA or MST
  • Experience with US outbound international US tax law and foreign tax law in multiple jurisdictions
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft products and experience with Hyperion Tax Provision and SmartView
  • Self-starter, self-confident and motivated
  • Ability to handle multiple processes/projects and plan accordingly
  • Strong data simplification, organization and documentation skills
    • Excellent analytical skills – must be able to analyze, not just compile information.
