Arconic is currently in search of a Senior HR Business Partner to join our join our Arconic Wheel and Transportation Products (AWTP) business unit in Barberton, OH.

Job Description:
 
The Sr. HRBP will provide advice and counsel to internal partners on strategies, policies and programs related to employee engagement, talent development, succession planning and other general human resource topics for the Barberton, Barberton Cast House and ASL locations. 
Responsibilities:
  • Performance management, workforce planning and compensation coaching. Includes participation, counseling and termination proceedings.
  • Responsible for all aspects of recruitment and retention activities and diversity initiatives for multi-site locations. Ensure all activities are strategic and in compliance with our equal employment policies and practices.  Complete AAP reports.
  • Works with the HR team to develop and implement strategic HR programs.  Ensuring positive organization development by leveraging best practices and change management techniques.
  • Training and development.
  • Implementing strategic and effective HR communications.
  • Manage standard people monthly reports.  Responsible for providing various people metrics for Barberton, Barberton Cast House and ASL locations.
  • Building strategic HR alignment and partnerships with business leaders

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of four years HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Labor/Employee Relations, Business, Organizational Development or from an accredited institution
  • MBA or master’s degree preferred
