Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performs statistical analyses to determine trends, estimates, and significant changes in financials;
  • Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position;
  • Monitors compliance with GAAP principles and company procedures;
  • Makes recommendations regarding the accounting of reserves, assets, and expenditures;
  • Update internal fixed assets/capital projects analyses;
  • Assists in month end closing process;
  • Assists in functions, as requested to ensure successful operation and achievement of objectives of the business unit;
  • Perform SOX audit testing;
  • Analyze data and determine appropriate labor and burden rates;
  • Maintain work center rates in QAD system;
  • Perform cost roll-ups and revaluations as needed;
  • Research production and inventory variances – determine root cause and initiate corrective action;
  • Enter journal entries;
  • Reconcile inventory and accrual accounts to the general ledger;
  • Review and analyze cycle counting results;
  • Monitor purchases clearing accounts – research and correct balances;
  • Reconcile accounts;
  • Prepare production and inventory slides for Operations and Staff Reviews;
  • Process miscellaneous credits and account write-offs;
  • Assist with annual budgeting process.


Basic Qualifications:
•       Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution;
•       Minimum of five (5) years of experience in an accounting role;
•       Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility is required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position;
•       This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITRA defines U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen U.S. Permanent Resident (ie. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications:
•       Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business from an accredited institution;
•       Master’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution;
•       Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel (v-lookups, pivots)
CPA and or CMA certifications;
•       Experience with standard costing systems, budgets, financial reporting and cost analysis
