Job Description

Position Description: Prepares financial statements including balance sheets, profit, loss, NFI’s, and subsidiary statements. Reviews and analyzes general ledger account balances, verifies accuracy, makes recommendations for corrections. Prepares monthly reconciliations, balance sheets, and AFRM activities. Drives compliance environment, ASAT’s. Position Duties: •Reconciles general ledger accounts with various registers. •Prepares and posts month end journal entries in SAP. •Reviews, balances, and interprets computer reports, and makes corrections. •Reviews credit requests for DOA approval requirements and processes same in Arconic’s SAP system. •Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as inventory and totals accounts to ledgers or computer spreadsheets and databases. •Prepares vouchers, account statements, reports, and other records, and reviews for accuracy. •Reconciles report discrepancies and problems. •Ensures compliance with Sarbanes Oxley controls, including cost related controls and DOA compliance. •Provides support on an as needed basis for financial and control audits for both internal and external auditors. •Maintains general ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, cost, property, and operating expenses, and insurance records. •Provides support and accounting leadership for periodic cycle and annual inventory counts. •Processes daily invoices for all three Washington Forming Operations plants and troubleshoots any processing issues. •Reconciles SAP COPA revenue & cost data to FI adjustments, revenue & direct cost lines. •Trains sales and operational personnel on job related SAP functions •Owns AFRM activities, tasks, journals and nominal recs •ASAT ownership and support where required •Other duties as assigned.   Skills/Competencies •Problem Solving •Interpersonal Skills •Oral Communication •Collaborative •Ethics •Planning/Organizing •Dependability •Confidentiality

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: •High School Diploma or GED Equivalent •5 years of experience in a financial manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance plus 3-5+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience or equivalent amount of experience. •Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint •Working knowledge of SAP, Hyperion, ASP, and AFRM •CPA/CMA Certified
