Arconic is looking for a Scheduler- Thermal and Finishing to join our Building and Construction Systems business unit in Cranberry Township, PA. The Scheduler-Thermal and Finishing is responsible for the following activities:
  • Schedule manufacturing operations balancing flow, demand, supply and productivity for the Thermal and Finishing departments.
  • In conjunction with Procurement, coordinate material purchases and outsourced material with production schedules.
  • Provide back up support for other scheduling functions.
  • Work with operations leaders to drive schedule adherence and balance of flow of material through the plant.
  • Creation and implementation of tracking tools to drive synergies between production and scheduling.
  • Review incoming orders based on ATP (available to promise), availability and ability to drive positive OTIF (On Time in Full) results.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to drive operational efficiencies and align with customer needs.
  • Collaborate with internal customers to provide status updates on critical shipments.


  • Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution;
    • Minimum of 2 years of scheduling experience in and operations / manufacturing environment;
    • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain Management from an accredited institution.
