Essential Functions: This is a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities and is not all inclusive. Incumbent(s) may and may be required to perform additional, position-specific tasks.
• Perform pre-operational Safety Checks
•Locate and ensure is familiar with all machine operation and controls
•Change blades on saws following the Safe Work Procedure
•Ensure all adjustments to machine are secure before making a cut
•Selects sawing operations according to type of cut specified on work order and sets up machine for cut
•Change blades on saws
•Start up the machine and allow to reach full speed before contacting the ring
•Make measurements and mount ring on saw using crane, or other material handling equipment
•After finishing the cut, release the handle and push the arm up slowly and wait for the disc to stop before removing work or off-cut piece
•Starts machine, places metal on table against guides, and pushes stock against saw
•Measures cut stock with ruler, caliper rule, or square, or scale, to verify dimensions against specifications
•Ability to move parts on and off pallets
•Removes cut stock from machine and maintains production count
•Cleans and maintains saws, equipment and operates the facilities’ sweeping equipment
•Performs all other duties as assigned. 
•Must be able to learn and follow company procedures and work instructions.
•Maintains a safe and organized workstation and follows all company policy, safety and procedures.
  • Production and Processing — Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Operation and Control — Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
  • Operation Monitoring — Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
  • Quality Control Analysis — Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
  • Reading Comprehension — Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
  • Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Speaking — Talking to others to convey information effectively.
  • Troubleshooting — Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
  • Basic functions of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and man lift to O.S.H.A approved standards.


Basic Qualifications: 
•High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution
•Minimum 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment
•Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
•This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S> person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications: 
•1+ year experience from work in a manufacturing environment or from a technical or craft certification program
•Previous military and/or mechanical experience related to hydraulic maintenance is a plus.
