Arconic Fastening Systems (AFS) is looking for Sales and Marketing Analyst at our manufacturing plant in Waco, TX. Our Analyst will be responsible for creating sales presentations and marketing forecasts which support the S&OP process and successful business plans.  Will gather data from multiple reliable sources to analyze market and customer trends to support revenue growth and profit enhancement; prepares detailed reports for senior managers in print, electronic formats and acts as an information resource to outside sales personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manages the preparation, compilation and update of the business plan and sales and marketing presentations for the Sales Leaders and VP of Sales and Marketing;
  • Consolidates build-rates, market trends and customer intelligence for the S&OP process, participates in the S&OP consensus forecast;
  • Contacts all major customers on a regular basis by phone or in-person and gathers build rates, forecasts, business conditions and other information. Maintains and updates associated contacts for major customers;
  • Prepare and update V.P & General Manager’s presentations, Industrial Hoshin, DI system updates and tracking;
  • Gathers, maintains and updates customer playbooks for top 20 customers: products, pricing, competitive analysis, strategic roadmap, negotiation support materials;
  • Prepares SIC and share gain reports on a monthly/quarterly/yearly basis;
  • Supports the Sales Leaders through ad-hoc sales and profitability analysis for customers, LOBs, products, etc. and preparation of presentations and other analytical material;
  • Supports RFA process with sales and profitability analysis;
  • Attends trade shows and conferences at Sales Leaders direction to gather market and competitive intelligence, maintain relationships with customers, compile and distribute sales leads;
  • Visits customers and distributors as required by Sales Leadership;
  • SPA for Phocus System, provides training on system as required, prepares customer/market/product/trend analysis as requires by Sales Leadership.
Additional Skills and Abilities:
  • Must be flexible to travel up to 25% of the time, including overnight as needed;
  • Will tour manufacturing environments and visit customer corporate locations;
  • Mathematical and statistical analytical skills using Excel and other tools;
  • Able to proficiently prepare professional presentations using PowerPoint;
  • Ability to function independently, take general directions and implement and execute a plan of action;
  • Comfortable functioning well in a high-paced environment under tight deadlines and balancing multiple competing priorities;
  • Comfortable presenting and participating in discussions within a high-level executive environment;
  • Understanding of accounting principles, profit, loss, standard costing, cash flow, net present value analysis.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution;
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position;
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITRA defines U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen U.S. Permanent Resident (ie. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related discipline from an accredited institution;
  • Minimum one (1) year of forecasting experience;
  • IBF: Certified Professional Forecaster (CPF), Advanced Certified Professional Forecaster (ACPF), or relevant certification.
