The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct customer service to facilitate the coordinating, follow up, timely resolution and closing of return material authorization.

Major Activities / Key Challenges

For the return material authorization portion of the job, the key role is to manage day-to-day account activities and to act as RMA coordinator between the business and its customers. The RMA Specialist position reviews and manages all return material authorizations for ATI. This would involve ensuring that there are proper orders in place to produce and ship replacement material if needed, expediting material if when needed and coordinating shipment of material to customer. In addition the RMA Specialist will work on process improvement, root cause problem solving to enable return material authorization s to be closed within 45 days.

Interaction with other internal organizations is necessary to resolve or call attention to potential production, quality, transportation, finance, and service issues. Some of the critical success factors for this role include independent action, critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

In addition to the RMA Specialist, you will act as a change agent within SCM to drive systematic delivery solutions for the plant, support scheduling of production centers as needed and support occasional coverage of weekend SCM duties in a rotation with other team members.

  • Must be articulate, have advanced computer knowledge, as well as, outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to implement systemic solutions to chronic delivery issues.
  • Working knowledge of ABS tools or lean manufacturing principles is required.
  • Perform job duties with little or no direction.
  • Ability to take on special assignments related to delivery, scheduling, planning and implementation of SCM teams.
  • Must be able to support weekend coverage as required.
  • Comfortable working under high pressure situations related to customer deadlines, communications with upper management and external customer interfaces.
  • Support customer overflow.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business field with focus in Supply Chain
  • Experience in an industrial environment
  • Oracle and SAP background knowledge
