Job Description

  1. Perform calibration activities and verifications to product processing and measuring and test equipment.
  2. Participate in monthly reliability and measurement uncertainty studies
  3. Produce weekly reports to management on calibration status
  4. Coordinate calibration activities/projects with other departments or suppliers
  5. Use computer software packages: Gagetrac, MS Word and MS Excel
  6. Collect, record and analyze calibration data to generate reports and checklists
  7. Participate in project related duties as directed by Lead/Manager
  8. Review calibration data received from suppliers
  9. Assist in performing Metrology Quality Audits.
  10. Work in a safe manner that promotes the health and well-being of the individual and the environment.
  • Comply with all EHS rules and regulations and supervisory instructions.
  • Report all incidents including injuries, spills, fires, property damage, and near misses to their supervisor.


Basic Qualifications

Skills/Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret calibration requirements, engineering drawings, charts, schematics and work instructions. Strong technical and organizational skills with the ability to multitask. High level of integrity, accuracy and dependability. Calibration of basic hand tools (calipers, micrometers, gages, etc.) experience preferred. Good communication skills.
