Responsible for performing laboratory inspections, gage calibration and maintaining a clear record of quality conformance. Must be able to work closely with individuals to support production and quality teams.


Maintain procedures and specifications to complying with all company and customer requirements.
Maintain laboratory and inspection records.
Maintain gage recall system to ensure all gages and furnaces are calibrated within the specified time frame.
Perform all required inspections and tests in a timely manner.
Communicate results with organization.
Order supplies.
Investigate opportunities to eliminate waste and improve inspection techniques.
Assist engineering and production in problem solving activities.
Perform at least 2 of the following tasks as assigned:
  • Metallurgical evaluate on production first piece set-up parts
  • Stress durability
  • Incoming inspection of wire and components
  • Build production gages
  • Calibrate production gages
  • Calibrate heat treat furnace control systems
Helps to ensure that quality and standards for the department are adhered to and maintained.
Assumes other special activities and responsibilities from time to time as required.
Adheres to Arconic EH&S, Quality, Continuous Improvements and other Company Policies.


Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Minimum 6 months experience working in Aerospace Fastener Manufacturing
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

Be able to use micrometers, calipers and comparator
1 Year experience working in Quality
Familiar with Aerospace Specifications
