Primary purpose of the function:

  • Technical resource for connecting Customer requirements to Quality Systems and Laboratory processes and systems.
  • Quality Data management (test results, process information, certification, etc)
  • Quality Assurance SPA for system improvement activities and deployment
Major activities/key challenges
  • Interpretation of multiple Customer Quality requirements across all product categories
  • Linking data systems (Oracle, Unisys, LIMS, eSpec, Shop Floor, etc) to ensure customer quality requirements are understood, met, and data properly saved/archived
  • Creating quality systems that allow transition from legacy computer systems to new systems
Essential Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Oracle.
  • Basic understanding of customer quality requirements (i.e. test types, limits, specifications, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Arconic business system principals and HP Tools
Major customers
  • External customers, metallurgists, sales and marketing, manufacturing engineers, supply chain management, quality system engineers, laboratory manager and quality manager

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of five (5) years of Information Technology experience
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

    This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines a U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
