Job Summary:
This position assists Quality Engineers with customer purchase order review and approval as well as customer deviation submittal and processing.  This position also assists Quality Engineers with other projects as needed.
 
Essential Functions:
•         Review and approve customer purchase orders
•         Submit and process customer deviations
•         Assist with tracking and managing customer return inventory
•         Perform internal audits per schedule
•         Coordinate internal BOP review
 
Job Responsibilities:
Job responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
•         Provide assistance to Quality Engineers as needed
•         Submit customer deviations as directed by Quality Engineers
•         Submit customer layouts as directed
•         Provide backup for supplier Quality Engineer as needed
 
NOTE:  Individual may need to flex across all shifts in order to execute duties as necessary

Employee is required to execute the following:
•         Occasional bending, reaching, pushing and pulling when retrieving and moving various items
•         Lifting intermittently of various items. Typically, assistance would be provided for weights exceeding 35 pounds
•         Good manual dexterity to operate computer equipment and precision measuring instruments
•         Oral communication via telephone or in person while interacting with customers, suppliers, or other employees
•         Position may require more than eight hours daily and more than five days weekly to complete work assignments
•         Sitting in chairs (swivel, padded, and adjustable)
•         Squatting / crouching when retrieving stored items from lower shelves and file cabinets, making equipment / product inspections, etc
•         Standing intermittently
•         Visual monitoring of computer screens

•         Computer, phone, and other office equipment
•         Microsoft Office and other software programs
 
Work Environment:

Roughly 90% of the duties are performed in an office environment, while 10% of duties are performed in manufacturing areas where compliance with applicable safety rules is required.
 
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be occasionally required to work near moving mechanical parts and exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level is moderate.

•         Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
