Job Description

This Quality Engineer position is located within our Plant 4 operations and will resolve manufacturing & shipment issues relative to customer specifications. Support the administration of quality manuals, continuous improvement initiatives & interaction with business center personnel on quality initiatives. Root cause analysis & corrective/preventative action determined as appropriate.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • 3+ years’ experience working with quality systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.  ITAR defines U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. %22Green Card Holder%22), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Thorough understanding of ISO/AS9100 quality systems and Nadcap special processes.
  • ASQ CQA and/or CQE highly desirable
  • Ability to read & interpret blueprint specifications
  • Good PC skills, written & verbal communications skills
  • Must work well in a team environment & commit to continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Root Cause & Corrective Action analysis, & auditing methodology.
