This position will engage in the resolution of manufacturing and shipment issues relative to both internal non-conformances and external customer quality escapes. Coordinate and lead Quality Clinic events for the Whitehall Casting Operation. Drive root cause analysis, corrective/preventative actions and continuous improvement to reduce PPM (returns) and rework and improve yield per the business Hoshin plan. Will also be the CAB (Corrective Action Board) SPA. Responsible for IQS oversight of CAR's for Whitehall Casting and ensuring closure in a timely manner.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with Quality Systems or Statistical analysis.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. "Green Card Holder"), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution preferred in the following disciplines: Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Experience in Aerospace or Automotive.
  • Thorough understanding of ISO/AS9100 quality systems and NADCAP special processes.
  • ASQ CQA and/or CQE highly desirable.
  • SPC experience and skills (implementation and experience strongly preferred.
  • 5 to 10 years Quality System or Statistical Analysis experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Root Cause and Corrective Action analysis and auditing methodology.
  • Internal audit experience.
  • Experience with PPAP/FAIR's, and NPI/APQP.
  • Ability to red and interpret blueprint specifications.
  • Excellent PC skills, written and verbal communication skills.
