Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and maintain files of the latest revision level documentation necessary to define product configuration and control manufacturing processes
  • Timely distribution of latest revision level documentation to all appropriate users and ensure that obsolete documentation is removed from distribution
  • Maintain a computer database of all filed documentation that ensures fast retrieval of documents.
  • Perform clerical typing duties to generate documents as necessary
  • Responsible for ensuring certs are done in a timely matter to meet site’s daily shipment goals
  • Writing / Editing / updating SOP, certifications, documentations,
  • Manage document control systems
  • Responsible for ensuring certs are done in a timely matter to meet site’s daily shipment goals
  • Primarily supporting the Quality and Engineering department on all document control processes

Basic Qualifications:
  • Highschool diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Quality Assurance capacity role
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred
  • Experience working in a union environment a plus
  • Experience with lotus notes or an equivalent document control database preferred
  • 2 or more years experience with quality systems such as ISO9001:2015, AS9100D, NADCAP
