Job Description

Position Description: This position evaluates production orders, prioritizes orders and creates production schedules to be in line with wants of customers. The candidate must coordinate with multi-dimensional teams to agree with customer expectations. Position Duties: •Uses SAP and Microsoft Excel tools to review, evaluate & distributes manufacturing production orders. •Uses demand and priority signals from Production, Planning, and Sales departments to develop specific production schedules for individual work centers and machines. •Coordinates the staging of material to support the manufacturing schedules of each work center by directing the tasks and priorities of Material Handlers. •Conducts follow-ups with each work center’s supervisors to ensure schedule adherence. •Uses process knowledge to develop scheduling strategies that improve throughput and reduce cost. Identifies opportunities for improvement in manufacturing methods and coordinates the review and implementation of changes. •Updates tracking tools with order status to communicate current status and expected completion dates. •Coordinates and communicates all expedite signals to Production Supervisors, Production Operators, Quality Control employees, Lab employees, and Management. •Supports daily production priorities planning meetings and performs other clerical tasks as required to provide support to Production Supervisors.


Basic Qualifications: •High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution •Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. •This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Preferred Qualifications: •A degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent from a technical school or three to five years related experience and/or training in manufacturing scheduling; or equivalent combination of education and experience. •Strong skills with SAP PP module, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word are required.
