This 1st shift position is located at the Ti-Cast Operations in Plant 5.  This position is responsible for assisting quality and manufacturing to meet customer requirements and expedite rework production.

Responsibilities for this position include, but not limited to:
  • SPA for ATS Defect Mapping system including creating models, coordinating with I.T. on programming to drive root cause and correction, eliminating weld maps driven by customers, training operators on system use and assisting product engineers with software improvements and any reporting needs.  Interacts directly with the supplier of the ATS software.
  • Assists engineering with creating rework routers in the production routing system per customer needs, notifying engineering and manufacturing of any potential rework product flow issues.
  • Blueprint reading and technical customer specification review to track requirements related to BOMs to ensure meeting customer specifications. 
  • Assigns job numbers for the production control system.
  • Supports internal quality audit requirements.
  • Back-up to enter and maintain information in TeamCenter, Oracle, Work Instructions system and other plant related systems as needed, including any additions and corrections as needed to ensure accuracy.
  • Resolves problems and communicates appropriately to the quality and manufacturing teams. 


  • High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Successfully meet the standardized Pre-Visor testing requirements. If applicant possesses a minimum of an associate degree, testing is not required.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
