We have an immediate opening at our Cleveland Works Plant for a Production Area Leader
Duties & responsibilities of this position include:
  • Train the hourly workforce on proper safety practices to achieve safety goals.
  • Train and motivate salaried and hourly employees to meet production goals while saving costs.
  • Work to achieve optimum utilization of the workforce/equipment in fluctuating conditions & environment.
  • Engage the hourly work force to implement new work practices & equipment while achieving production goals.
  • Manage operating costs and labor issues within the Forging Facilities.
  • Ensure Environmental Health and Safety leadership and direction are in place and effective within the Manufacturing facilities.
  • Manages oracle accuracy for plant, ensuring correct application of metal and timely movement of product through the system.
  • Prepare and deliver the Production Plan each month.
  • Ensure all employees follow standard ABS systems and have disciplined execution of all continuous improvement and operating systems.


Basic Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • 3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering
  • Seven+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated record of making continuous improvements
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook
