Arconic is currently in search of a Product Configuration Analyst, to join our Kawneer business. This role can be located in Norcross, GA or any Kawneer facility.
Kawneer is the leading manufacturer of architectural aluminum products and systems for the commercial construction industry. Kawneer is part of Arconic’s global Building and Construction Systems (BCS) business unit, which manufactures and markets architectural systems and products in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. 
Working with Product Marketing, Product Engineers, Pricing Administrators and End Users, the Product Configuration Analyst reviews and analyzes Engineering documentation and other inputs and develops models in a 3D object-oriented software tool which are then used by internal customers to create accurate estimates, material lists and fabrication requirements for commercial architectural systems
Major Activities
  • Collaborate with other business functions.
  • Perform detailed analysis, setup, testing, debugging and documentation of 3D product configuration software.
  • Support end users of estimates, material lists and fabrication reports for commercial architectural systems
  • Develop, coordinate and conduct training on Configuration systems as required.
  • Work with business leaders and end-users to identify and resolve training or process improvement opportunities


Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • 2 years of experience with KaluCAD and CAD software
  • 2 years of experience in computer programming
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. 
    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate Degree in Architecture, Information Technology, Mechanical or Architectural drafting or similar disciplines
  • Experience in the fenestration industry and fenestration product knowledge.
  • Understanding of the estimating and manufacturing of engineered-to-order products
