Arconic Fastening Systems is looking for a Process Technician I – Material Handler who is responsible for production and repair of various machine tooling within drawing and specification requirements. This includes being able to work with multiple departments as well as individual needs to rework existing tooling and meet production requirements as well as company goals.

Quality Tech I – Sort Essential Job Duties
  • Move parts throughout the facility from one process to another
  • Operate mobile equipment daily
  • Process transactions in MRP system
  • Use scale to conduct weight count
  • Read and interpret routers and work instructions
  • Participate with production teams to resolve production issues
  • Perform other tasks as needed in support of manufacturing operations
  • Work in a safe manner that promotes the health and well-being of the individual and the environment
  • Comply with all EHS rules and regulations and supervisory instructions
  • Report all incidents including injuries, spills, fires, property damage, and near misses to their supervisor


Basic Requirements:
• Minimum 1-2 years of manufacturing environment experience
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be familiar with MRP, QAD, Outlook, and weight count scales
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Able to use measuring devices (caliper, micrometer, etc)
• Must be able to move/lift 30 lbs (may not exceed per EHS Policies)
Preferred Qualifications:
• 1-2 years of material handling or parts moving experience   
• Must be able to work 1st shift
