This first shift position will be located in our Plant 3, Whitehall Casting Operation.  Key responsibilities include:
  • Assist process owners and quality engineers in data collection, report preparation, deviated material reports, problem resolution and quality alerts.
  • Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Communicate feedback to external suppliers on quality issues.
  • Perform laboratory testing to support on-going manufacturing operations.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of two years of consistent work experience, post high school.
  • Successfully meet the standardized testing requirements. If applicant possesses a minimum of an associate degree, testing is not required.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee. 
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of two-years experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, or laboratory environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Access.
  • Ability to work in a self-directed or team environment and have good organizational skills
  • Ability to collect, review, and analyze data to generate reports and draw conclusions.
