Job Description

The purpose of this position is to act as a business partner to the Plant Manager, directing the finance function at a manufacturing facility.  This position reports to the Plant Manager with a strong dotted line to the Business Unit.  Key responsibilities include: direct the operation of Information Systems, Procurement and Accounting to provide adequate manufacturing systems, with additional responsibilities including, but not limited to:     
  Identifying key levers to drive business improvement and providing leadership to ensure implementation of business improvement opportunities
  1. Determine, in conjunction with plant management, targeted goals for performance measures of quality, productivity, delivery, cycle time, inventory optimization and profitability
  2. Deploying business unit initiatives
  3. Forecasting, planning and analyzing business results
  4. Complying with Arconic and business unit financial reporting requirements
  5. Coordination of the capital appropriation process and post-project reviews
  6. Ensuring completion of Arconic’s Sarbanes-Oxley requirements for internal controls
  7. Supervising department employees
  8. Perform job duties in a safe and efficient manner
  9. Maintain high attendance record
  10. Business travel may be required
  11. Perform other work related duties as necessary

Basic Qualifications:
BS in Business Administration and/or Finance Accounting
 7+ years related financial/controllership work experience in a manufacturing environment. Supervisory experience

Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.

•        Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills
•        MBA, CMA and/or CPA
•        Plant Controller experience for a manufacturing facility with at least $150 million in annual revenues.
•        At least 2 year’s supervisory experience with the ability to manage and develop Staff (Financial and Operational)
•        High proficiency in using MS Office software, experience with Oracle, Hyperion, or similar systems, project management, multi-tasking and developing/excecuting data queries.
•        Strong analytical and decision making skills.
•        Strong organizational skills in relation to managing multiple projects with tight deadlines in a high pressure/high intensity environment.
•        Strong cost accounting skills – Multi level Routing and Bill of material Cost Accounting Experience.
•        Ability to dig for details and work on challenging projects.
•        Ability to communicate complex financial information in an easy to understand manner to non-finance personnel.
