This position will be responsible for designing and detailing of complex special casting-related and automation equipment to specific customer requirements.  Will be responsible to follow designs through the build and installation processes.  Significant supplier, customer, and management contact expected.  Knowledge of the manufacturing process and the ability to handle all technical issues.  Coordinate support of various projects including quoting, project initiation, budgets and timelines. Provide engineering and material support for shop floor projects.  Includes record keeping, data entry, maintaining/updating charts, presentation preparation, organizing meetings, initiating purchase requisitions, travel arrangements, etc. 

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:
  • BS Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
Preferred Requirements:
  • BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong communication skills, good PC skills, program management skills.
  • 3+ years experience, preferably in industrial machine design/engineering.                                                                                  Must have experience with Auto Cad.
  • Must be able to competently use the Solid Works Modeling/Drafting package.
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects concurrently, and interact with employees during equipment build phase.
