Arconic Engineered Structures (AES) is seeking a Marketing Manager to maintain and grow the AES portfolio of accounts for Drawn Tubing in the automotive and industrial markets. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
The primary purpose of this role is to maintain the current customer base, generate revenue and growth for Drawn Tubing within the automotive and industrial market. This is one of AES’s largest markets, with many contracts and active spot opportunities. The market is in a state of transition as some key industrial and automotive programs are in growth mode, while others are declining. The key strategic imperatives for this role are finding the right avenues for growth, while also partnering with operations to efficiently utilize all capacity resources and drive costs down.

Essential Functions:
The Marketing Manager position within AES includes both creation of strategic vision and tactical management and execution, examples include but are not limited to:
  • Support the product and revenue pipeline including; lead tracking, opportunity identification, commercial forecasts with input from sales, value propositions
  • Address customer questions and manage product related reporting through standard Arconic systems.
  • Develop strong relationships with targeted customers and internal stakeholders and position Arconic as a preferred provider. This includes market segmentation, customer relationship management in support of sales, and product positioning.
  • Proactively educate the customer base on Arconic product offerings and consolidate competitor and market related intelligence gathered from various sources (including field sales) as a part of the AES Marketing Team.
  • Product related reporting and integrated plans
  • Support long term product development vision in support of the market.
  • Responsible for monthly forecast update for Drawn Tube flow paths.
  • Responsible for contract analysis and providing pricing support.
  • Responsible for researching product and competitor intelligence.
  • Responsibility for prices quoted in spot opportunities and contracts.
  • Develop product growth pipeline and coordinate revenue sales plan goals.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in Marketing and/or Sales;
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position;
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR), which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business/Finance from an accredited institution;
  • 5+ years of experience working in commercial aerospace manufacturing marketing;
  • Understanding of the Metals Processing, basic metallurgy, and basic supply chain management in order to understand the areas of value in order to determine appropriate value pricing strategies and competitive pricing strategies – and when each applies.
