You will build and maintain relationships with target universities, develop internal recruiting programs based on ongoing business needs and focus on driving the recruitment of early talent. Responsibilities include: developing the strategy for each school, maintaining metrics of success, managing workforce planning with the businesses, managing events, organizing interviews, curriculum integration and other outreach activities. You will partner with internal stakeholders, (i.e. talent acquisition, business leaders, senior executives, Campus Recruiting Teams, etc.), to maximize hiring outcomes. You will be responsible for three UR Recruiters and a UR Coordinator. 
Key responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the University Relations Program, building and maintaining strong partnerships with colleges and universities.
  • Working with key stakeholders to build out the Arconic Internship Program.
  • Collaborate with Campus sponsors and cross-functional campus managers to develop university recruiting strategies at targeted universities.
  • Manage workforce planning process with business leaders and HR.
  • Aggregate and analyze data to improve strategic implementation.
  • Determine key success metrics for campus programs and establish reporting structure for continuous improvement.
  • Create detailed strategy with UR Team for each school with clearly defined objectives, desired outcomes, diversity plan, and calendar of events.
  • Develop operational plans and branding activities at assigned schools to attract early talent (i.e. Case competitions, public speaking opportunities, sponsorships and case studies).
  • Develop relationships with placement officers, department heads, faculty/staff, alumni and student organizations.
  • Develop, implement and execute on-campus events that include: Info Sessions, tech talks, executive visits, faculty visits, on-campus interviews and events with student organizations.
  • Develop and implement workshops, training, recruiter toolkits, and interview guides to ensure that campus recruiters, presenters and target school teams have the necessary information and skills needed to be effective.
  • Annually assess each target universities' performance to determine overall effectiveness, review analyses with key stakeholders and use data and feedback to make long-term decisions related to each school.
  • Manage recruiting relationships and events for national diversity organizations, such as Society of Hispanic Engineers, Society of Women Engineers and National Society of Black Engineers.


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in University Recruiting with exposure to Top Tier colleges and universities.
  • Minimum 2 years of Program management experience including management of budgets and teams.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience driving large scale programs with ability to identify continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of program design, metrics, outcomes and evaluations.
  • Excellent communications skills, particularly writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in a large, global company.
