Job Description

The Manager, HR Shared and Technology Services leads the HRIS Technology and HR Services teams; including US Benefits Management, US HR Functional Support, and Global HR Technology systems support in the areas of system interfaces, security administration, training, ensuring global process standardization, continuous improvement and process efficiencies. Deliver HR functional support for many of Arconic locations by leveraging global standard processes and procedures allowing HRBPs to increase time on business strategy and location HR services.
  • Provide strategic direction in the delivery of general benefits, HR and functional systems support services.
  • Benchmark with other companies and industry leaders to ensure processes maintain world-class status.
  • Establish process steps and standardize procedures to ensure data privacy compliance is achieved for Arconic HR employees with access to view, update or pull data from the Global People System (HRIS).
  • Using continuous improvement principles for standardized work, evaluate and form the base process to incorporate all significant global requirements
  • Form and maintain close connections / regular communications with peers to align standard practices, review and create action plans to resolve customer issues and prioritize global and cross region HR projects, and cross functional departmental projects.
  • Design strategy to sweep HR functional work into the standardized HR services team, develop and propose deployment strategy and a catalogue of work to ensure visibility of services to global HR organization.
  • Provide Vendor and reporting management delivery with high quality services at competitive rates. Partner with procurement department for vendor selection process.
  • Maintain catalogue of services both standard and surge for review with HRBP to ensure our services are well understood by our customers and facilitate the opportunities.
  • Establish standard practices for employees working virtually from other countries; leverage PDConnections and process metrics to ensure high quality services to customers.
  • Design, maintain and test internal controls to ensure compliance with Arconic Audit standards, Corporate Binding Rules and all global / country legal requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Arconic global ASAT for designated HR area and propose process changes to promote improved controls and / or testing efficiency.
  • Responsible for compliance with all Arconic Audit standards and local laws for the supported locations
  • Develop talent to ensure employees are engaged, and developing for future succession roles.
  • Develop, mentor and coach the team to high levels of performance

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 7 years of Human Resources, Vendor Management, Project Management or Continuous Improvement experience
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources or Business
  • Strong business acumen
