Job Description

The Manager, HR Organizational Development & Effectiveness will guide, manage, and motivate a Team with global responsibility for complicated global projects within One HR.
  • Develop initiatives that will increase the use of HR analytics and standardize continuous improvement.
  • Lead OD&E strategy to accelerate global HR innovation and continuous improvements. Leverage external and internal bench marking; create global standards and centralized dashboards and reports.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to align the company's people and culture with changes in business strategy, organizational structure, technology and business processes.
  • Considers measures of success in development to ensure continuous improvement in all aspects of delivery
  • Understands business issues and opportunities and translates or aligns them to a vision, strategy and plans to chart a course of action.
  • Utilize HRIS global standardization as a single source of data to Think Global Act Local. Support business reporting, analytics and decision making.
  • Ensure the integrity of data governance requirements are held to high standards for legal compliance and organization efficiency. Provide HR leadership for GDPR.
  • Identify and develop emerging networks of experts to support long term HR vision.
  • Partner with HR and Business Executives on issues related to organizational effectiveness and change management in an effort to improve organizational performance
  • Understand how an organization attracts, recruits, evaluates, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its goals. Includes talent related processes
  • Lead HR Governance of Arconic's Global HR Systems. Drive continuous improvement, protect global security access and leverage standardization of franchise model.
  • Lead on-going HR transformation (e.g. centralization of work) including standardization of project management and continuous improvement tools.
  • Strategic member of Data Privacy/Governance GDPR/Corporate Binding Rules Steering Committee.
  • Identify and create business cases for adoption of leading edge technology in support of global business strategy.
  • Design customer requirements for ease of use with data analytics, data warehouse and reports (People Experience) .
  • Develop proactive global communications, with corporate communications, to support Customer knowledge base, share best practices, issues and actions to take.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.  
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in HR or HR Aligned Field, HRIS, Project Management, Continuous Improvement.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • Masters Degree from an accredited institution
  • Proven ability to manage global projects
  • Proven ability to manage vendor relations
  • Proven ability to drive contiuous improvement, develop process standards and supporting data
  • Broad knowledge of HR, technology, and shared services
