Arconic Engineered Structures (AES) is seeking a high-level finance/accounting leader to become the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis for the AES Business Unit. The position is primarily responsible for all BU reporting, analysis, forecasting and planning; key financial support for strategic planning and business development processes within the AES. Essential Functions: The Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, AES position includes both creation of strategic vision, and tactical management including execution, examples include but are not limited to:
  • Prepare monthly, weekly and daily analysis of consolidated BU performance covering earnings, cash flow, and capital base as well as non-financial indicators;
  • Assist with execution of the AFE annual strategic planning process and supporting AFE leadership in preparation of Quarterly Business Reviews;
  • Prepare BU-level analysis of financial forecasts and coordinate the planning and forecasting processes across the BU;
  • Establish standardized, efficient and effective reporting and analysis solutions for the locations within the BU;
  • Coordinate the development of the annual 3-year Plan and Business Strategic Plans, with associated BU-level analysis;
  • Liaise with Arconic Corporate FP&A and prepare corporate reports and analysis as required
  • Conduct analysis and contributing insights to create actionable recommendations on specific strategic questions;
  • Evaluate the business case for investment/capital projects Support BU-level acquisition projects as required.

  • Economics and Accounting — Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
  • Mastery of Technology Skills — Accounting and Finance software: Hyperion, Oracle E-Business Suite, SAP; Spreadsheet software: Microsoft Excel; Office Suite software: Microsoft Office
  • Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Law and Government — Knowledge of laws, legal codes, government regulations, executive orders, and agency rules.
  • Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

Basic Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited institution.
•Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Finance or Accounting role
•Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
•This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’) Political Asylee, or Refugee.  

Preferred Qualifications:
•Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Finance or Accounting role which includes business analysis, recommendations for strategy, financial modeling and project management.
•Master of Business Administration (MBA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or consulting experience highly desirable.
