Responsible for performing maintenance and repair of all production and facility equipment. Interface with subcontractors in the repair of production and facility equipment. Specify and order required repair parts and supplies. Assure a safe and healthful workplace. Show by example a commitment to employee involvement, participative management, and continuous improvement.

Installs electrical conduit, wiring, switching devices, controls, outlets, fixtures, motors, and other such equipment.
Performs skilled maintenance activities including construction, brazing, soldering, and plumbing.
Tests, maintains, and evaluates equipment performance using instruments such as voltmeter, ohmmeters, pyrometers, and pressure gages.
Perform other tasks as needed in support of manufacturing operations, customers and suppliers.
Helps to ensure that quality and standards for the department are adhered to and maintained.
Assumes other special activities and responsibilities from time to time as required.
Adheres to Arconic EH&S, Quality, Continuous Improvements and other Company Policies.

Basic Qualifications

Trade certificate in machine/ facility maintenance and repair, including machining, electrical, motor controls, plumbing, HVAC and welding required
5 Years Experience in a manufacturing environment performing machine maintenance and repair.
Ability to read equipment, component and wiring drawings and schematics.

Familiar with Hydraulics and Pneumatics

Fabrication experience required
Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience and knowledge required
Familiar with the function and operation of a variety of manufacturing equipment and processes (i.e. heading, rolling, drilling, heat treat, plating, band annealing, assembly and facility support.)
Ability to read equipment, component and wiring drawings and schematics.

Familiar with Hydraulics and Pneumatics

Familiar with MS Office suite
