Job Description

Under minimal supervision, troubleshoot and maintain equipment in an industrial manufacturing facility.


  • Perform maintenance activities on all equipment within the plant.  This includes but is not limited to preventive and predictive maintenance as well as performing breakdown repairs. 
  • Able to troubleshoot and repair equipment with limited documentation. 
  • Proficient using a digital multi-meter to inspect/check electrical systems.
  • Able to test fuses and capacitors.
  • Troubleshoot 480V 3-Phase Systems, be able to identify correct voltages on all 3-phases.
  • Work on electrical equipment up to 5kV.
  • Familiar with electrical components (i.e. motor starts, contactors, relays, i/o cards).
  • Assist in the implementation and debug of new machines and upgrades to existing machines.
  • Able to drill and tap threaded holes, install heli-coils as needed.
  • Replace pipes or hoses for various applications (water, induction, hydraulic, and pneumatic).
  • Must be able to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
  • Must be able to perform tasks at working heights greater than 4 feet
  • Able to operate mobile equipment’s and cranes (i.e. overhead bridge cranes, scissor lifts, aerial boom-lifts, etc…)
  • Must be able to perform tasks at working heights greater than 4 feet and be able to climb ladders.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures


  • High school graduate or GED
  • Minimum of 3+ years of maintenance experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.  
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa Sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which required U.S. person status.  ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U. S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of National Electric Code.
  • Able to read electrical/mechanical prints
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work as a team player.
  • Experience with compressors, hydraulic power units, saws, extrusion presses, induction equipment, and/or CNC lathes.
