Position Summary: :  Serves as a lead for Maintenance and as a resource for Maintenance Techs - assisting them with root cause analysis and repair activities.


Supervisory Responsibilities:  Assists Maintenance Area Lead in day-to- day oversight of assigned work area.  Makes work assignments, oversees and reviews work, conducts training, provides input for performance appraisals and corrective action.


Essential Duties:

  • Ensures that all employees working in or around their department wear personal protection equipment, operate equipment in a safe manner, and follow all safety rules and guidelines.
  • Troubleshoots maintenance related problems and guides Maintenance Techs to address and repair root cause.
  • Maintains and repairs machinery and mechanical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines and equipment in accordance with diagrams, specifications and operator’s manuals
  • Dismantles devices and machines to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, handtools, power tools, and cranes
  • Performs needed maintenance work: such as replacing pumps, motors, ball screws, cables, gibs and mount guards
  • Completes pre-shift human performance paperwork, identifies shift’s high-risk task of the day, and end-of-shift maintenance report
  •  Communicates with Maintenance Area Lead or Maintenance Services Manager in the event of repair time exceeding 2 hours
    Additional Duties:

  • Maintaining personal safety equipment and promoting all EHS Regulations
  • Communicate equipment issues to Production in Maintenance Area Lead’s absence.


Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of four years experience with CNC and robotics maintenance
  • Has reached maintenance skill level 7, in accordance with Maintenance Skill Matrix
  • A detailed knowledge of repairing machines, machine parts and maintenance practices,
