Arconic Fastening Systems in Fullerton is seeking a Maintenance Tech II.

Performs skilled mechanical work to install, maintain, repair, and/or modify manufacturing plant equipment, building and fixtures.
Essential Functions
  • Perform minor repairs on production and non-production machinery and to buildings and facilities, including painting,welding or fabrication of various sheet metal items.
  • Prepare paint and applies to various structures.
  • Inspect plant equipment such as forklift, hydraulic lift hand trucks, furnaces, compressors, etc., to identify needs for cleaning, adjustment, repair and/or replacement.
  • Assist maintenance mechanics in the servicing and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment. Also assist electricians with conduit and pulling of wires.
  • Install machines and equipment by moving into place mounting non-energized motors, and connecting air, water gas, and oil lines, pumps, and other mechanical parts.
  • Notify lead person of requirements for supplies and materials.
  • Interact with all the facility departments.
  • Move office furniture and related items.
  • Janitorial tasks as requires.
  • Perform any maintenance related tasks capable.


Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and two years minimum related experience in a manufacturing facility as a mechanic.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
