Maintenance Team Leader
 
 
Job Summary
  • Direct and coordinate activities of industrial Maintenance workers and contractors engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of production equipment under the direction of Department Supervisor and/or Manager.
 
 
Job Responsibilities
  • Read and follow the information on work instructions.
 
  • Record data either manually or by computer as required.
 
  • Satisfactory maintains Maintenance Management Systems.
  • Attend daily planning meetings.
  • Prepare shutdown and daily work lists.
  • Review work orders for needed parts and materials and ensure they are onsite in time for job start-up. 
  • Write work orders and requisitions. 
 
  • Schedule work associated with Maintenance Program.
 
  • Schedule and oversee contractors to perform specific maintenance tasks.
 
  • Review work orders to determine work priorities.  Coordinate with production departments to schedule repairs, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
 
  • Provide any reports needed to schedule department resources.
  • Maintain C.M.M.S. systems, ensures PM’s are accurate and updated, as necessary to properly maintain equipment.
  • Maintain fork trucks, roll up doors, building, and other miscellaneous equipment.
 
  • Promote teamwork between maintenance personnel and production personnel. 
 
  • Provide insight to resolving problems.  Assess issues and develop corresponding plan.
 
  • Schedule and track department overtime utilizing a computerized system.
 
  • Coordinate activities of workers fabricating or modifying machines, tools, or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing products.
 
  • Direct maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.
 
  • Develop and operate computerized maintenance management system in conjunction with engineering and maintenance staff.
 
  • Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.
 
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
Education:
•         Minimum of a high school diploma (or GED) and a certification in Maintenance technical skills trade (or higher education training degree).
 
Experience:
•         Minimum of 1 year of industrial Maintenance leadership experience.
 
•         Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
•          
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee
