Key Responsibilities:
  • Able to work with hand tools and knowledge of making chamfers
  • Able to work with parts and break the sharp edges of parts
  • Able to buff parts to proper surface finish
  • Able to deburr the keyways
  • Familiarity with aerospace product lines; preferably fasteners and/or bearings.
  • Interprets blueprints, shop drawings, planning to make complete setups and adjustments.
  • Able and willing to cross-train with Assembly department as needed
  • Performs all work within established standards of production
  • Responsible for review of own work for completeness and quality standards.
  • Performs related work of equal or lesser skill.
  • Follows EHS Policies to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as scheduled


Basic Qualifications

  • Highschool Diploma or GED Required
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an Aerospace machine shop enviornment
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this option.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) which requires U.S. Person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as a U.S. citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (ie. Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee


Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with assembly and identification is a plus
  • Able to work with threaded parts is a plus
